SOTW V1 Ch6, Ch7 and Ch8

Chapter 6 was pretty simple with the story of Joseph. We did listen to the audiobook suggestion, the map work and tissue papered Joseph's coat.

Chapter 7- getting a little hard to differentiate some of what is happening. Since we already built a ziggurat, Mac wasn't interested in that. Read Abu Ali and did some of the other activities in the student book. 

Chapter 8 was a lot of reading. We read the fairytales suggested, which was awesome because it brought pictures of the story we listened to to life. Didn't feel she was ready to create her own fairytale. 

October Fun

Seasonal fun with a sensory box of leaves, red and black beans, pumpkins, spiders and fall cookie cutters. Mac definitely helped Ellie get interested and plays it often during rest time, but I'm not sure Ellie was ready for the box at two. Will try again next year.
